Based on the NES version, and having never seen a PAL MD 52, I'd say no. It wouldn't make sense, but I wouldn't completely rule it out though.

thanks for the replies

just checking as I was making a list for my pal games and was wondering whither to include the cart

on a side note was there only one version of the cart as mine is like a standard mega drive not the squarish type as seen here

Have you got a pic of it?

I think there's another version of the cart, as you mentioned, but I haven't seen it up on eBay in the longest time, that's if I'm not just making this thing up in my head.

Ok, I'm not going crazy - that's the one I saw.

There is no official one out. The one in the pic is my guess a asian or korean, I;ve seen that one in a nearby store for sale before and it has a lot of Jappanese text on it. There is also a Euro ripoff. A good friend and gamer of mine has the Euro version also boxed and it has the same games and a pic of sonic on the case. Also both ripoffs are in a standard genny cart. I hope that helps you out some.

Why would anyone want it to be?!?! @_@

I had a Genny A52, and was able to trade it for a good half of the CV's cart setup.

Euhhhhh...
