Who else remembers HACKER? This game used to drive me nuts, what with the robots drilling underground to Washington and whatnot.

Did anyone actually finish this game? What the heck was it all about? And wasn't there a HACKER II?

"AUSTRALIA"

I actually *did* beat Hacker. It's been a long, long, long time ago so I don't remember exactly all the details, but it involved going and finding items, and then buying and selling them in right places in the right order.

I remember playing Hacker II but if I remember correctly they made it much more complicated and I never got anywhere in it. Just like Impossible Mission. I loved the first one but the second one I couldn't get anywhere

If you liked those games, check out "Uplink". It came out a year or two ago and is very similar in spirit, but with updated graphics and gameplay.

I beat it when I was a kid... Ironically enough, I didn't buy the game either.

Yea, it was all a matter of finding out what each person would want/trade for. I don't remember it taking me weeks to beat or anything. Maybe I got a little lucky. Too bad I didn't have my printer hooked up when I beat it though, as there was a special surprise if you did.

I never played Hacker II.. didn't make it to the Atari 8-bit, as far as I know.
