Was Sam & Max Hit The Road a DOS or Windows program, I don't remember? Anyhow, discuss!

This was one of the games I always wanted to play but never could, seeing as how I didn't have a PC until 2003. I do have an old LucasArts magazine (The Adventurer, #7 Winter 1994) that has quite a bit on Sam & Max in it, including merchandise and "Sam & Max Hit The Road: The Thrill-Packed And Completely Unrelated Official Boardgame". Funny stuff there.

My God... I loved this game as a child. I should reinstall it someday.

"My little buddy here needs to use the facilities."

"Facilities be damned, I need a bathroom!"

LOL LOL LOL

WEll there was a armed and dangerous pre-order disc for 9.99 that included a xp/windwos compatibel version of the game. I picked it up about a week ago. My best buy still has about 10-15 of em left. Sold my original for about 25 on ebay a few months back. Now if they can update day of the tentacle and full throttle to work with xp.

Both, I think... In any case, if you can't run it under XP, then give ScummVM (http://www.scummvm.org) a try... with ScummVM, Sam & Max suddenly becomes a Linux and Mac program as well!

yeah i 2nd that, in fact everyone should use ScummVM to run Lucas Arts games as it's far easier than getting the actual game to run under win/dos, you can even run every Lucas Arts Adventure on your dreamcast :)

I need to check my bestbuy and see if they have any of these left.

Sam: "I'd just love to turn this guy inside out."

Max: "Oooh! That gives me an idea!"
