I'm interested in a list of every Genesis game that made use of the mouse, particularly if Risk uses it. I play every other month with a group and it would make our lives fairly easier.

Yeah, so the Genesis theme week is over, screw you, dirty hippies!!!

Dunno about Genesis, but on the Megadrive ..

Jimmy White's Whirlwind Snooker uses it. As does Populous 2: The Two Tribes - but the game developers cocked up big time and got the left / right movements the wrong way round! You can't even turn the mouse round to correct it, because the up / down movements are correct. Dumbasses!!

I think Shining Force CD is compatible as well. That's all I know of.

Checking the box and manual for Risk, it makes no indication that it uses the mouse. I'll plug a mouse in on Risk, and try it for you, and post later.

Other than that, I know Nobunaga's Ambition uses it.

Thank you Dave, I've heard on a recent Atari Age thread that the Koei games make use of it.

Sausagefellow:

The mouse does NOT work with Risk. As it turns out, the mouse won't do a damn thing for this game. Won't even accept button presses off the mouse!

Art Alive uses it.
The original Sega one might just be the worst mouse ever but atleast you got a free Sega mouse mat with it. :)
