Radiant Silvergun is ok. Too many cheap shots, imo, and not enough tight gameplay. Though it has its' "moments".

I wouldn't pay over $50 for it, but that's just me.

It's not just you, but I've said my piece on this game before.

Still that's an excellent deal. Congrats.

Which means it's time for me to tune in and testify to its greatness again. And the world keeps turning. :)

Alright nay sayers, spill the beans!

All I ever read is RS is the best shmup ever, finest example of programming for the Saturn hardware, and so on!

So let's hear the other side of the coin for once.

As a newly initiated Saturn owner I figured I'd end up buying it one day but finding it for less that $150 is near impossible so I figured I'd just have to bite the bullet and pay the going price unless I get lucky like tonyvortex.

Ok, i'll admit it. I wrote that without having given the game its fair dues.

I'm used to the old time shooters with power-ups, and when I played this game the whole multiple gun structure was something I wasn't expecting, and quite honestly wasn't fond of at first. I was also very tired

So many of you say how great this game is though, that I had to go back and give it another good go, and I must admit that the game is quite tight indeed. It just has a steeper learning curve that I wasn't prepared for.

Why am I posting this? Cause when it comes to games I like to be honest, and if i'm wrong i'll admit it, and in this case I was. I've learned how to manage the gun system much better, and may turn out to be the best Radiant Silvergun player ever thanks to all of you. :)

playing it you can see where there are similarites between ikaruga and this, but wow this game is hard.the grand selection of weapons from the start messes you up just as in ikaruga you need to change back and forth.this game is brilliant by the way.

It's all in there. I just don't feel like hashing it out again. I realize it's not a popular opinion, but I still stand by it.
