Sorry to bring this topic up again guys and gals, I guess I didn't pay attention to the answers in the past. I feel it's about time I get this stuff insured, I know there's over 25k worth of games in my house and I really wouldn't know how to go about getting this stuff insured. I couldn't get a streight answer from the insurance agent, he kind of just said take some pictures and your covered, I know that's a crock of bull and I'm assuming he figured there's about 1000 dollars worth of games the insurance company might just write off. Now my question is, who has had experience with insuring collections, what's the best route to go about doing it, and has any1 ever filed a claim on these types of collectibles? Your responces are greatly appreciated, thanks!

First and foremost, let your agent know how much it is worth. You said he probably thinks it's worth about $1000... make SURE he knows it's worth the $25k. As long as you can prove you had it (the pictures he mentions) some policies will cover that. Otherwise you may need a rider specifically for them.

Check those links out. If you still can't find an answer, post a question in one of those threads instead of making a new topic. :)
And for now...
