Getting a disc out of a non-working Xbox?

I've got an Xbox that won't power up (no life at all), and it's got a disc stuck in it (Panzer Dragoon Orta).
Is there any way to get it out without disassembling the whole thing [and voiding the wqarranty in the process]?
There's a little hole under the drive that looks like it may be a disc-release mechanism, but I've had no joy poking around with it.

Yup, an unbent paper clip in that hole should do the trick. The unit is still on it's 90 day warranty? Definitely do not open 'er up if it is. They are sticky sticky sticky about them being unopened.


If you ended up leaving the game in it, they are supposedly very good about returning it with the game. Don't void your warranty, if you have one.
