Found some commen games today, but got a cute little gameboy wristwatch, battery is dead and I doubt it does anything other then tell time, but its really cute, the face is shaped like a gameboy with the little buttons laid out like a gameboy. Anybody know anything about this? I searched ebay but couldnt find one. It says interact 1992 on the back. I'm just asking because my son wants it and I will probably give it to him unless its something unique, which I doubt but I thought i would check before I let him take off with it. It was 1.50.

Definately a good deal in my eyes. A sega cd in its box with all the wires and cardboard all unopened becasue the person I got it from didn't have the sega unit so she said she never played it. And 13 games with it all which were complete with the foam thing. Also a boxed sega saturn with all teh papers and cardboard with 6 games. All of this was from the same person and I got it all for 16.25. :D

Damn, Goodwill is greedy! They wanted $6+ for two loose cartridges, Vectorman ($3.99 before taxes) and $2.11 (after taxes) for a loose copy of Platoon. I bought the Platoon, but damn, it's just not worth it! I didn't even look at the bare Genesis 2 under the counter. Blah. I also bought the only good (?) game cartridge in the store besides that Vectorman (which was horribly overpriced). I swear, I'd better come back to the Buy & Sell forum instead, this just isn't worth it. o_O

Don't feel bad, mine is even worse. Mine got ahold of some of those shitty overstock sealed Genesis, 32X & Saturn games they have about 750,000 auctions of on eBay for now. They think they struck oil or something! And when I say shitty, I mean it....

Well...my Goodwill got ahold of a copy of Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun + the expansion pack, and wanted $15 for each of them (AFTER a 50% discount)!

Guess the moral of the story is never feel bad when a meteor falls out of the sky and hits a Goodwill, because the chance of anything valuable being inside is damn slim.

Not video games, but I have to brag somewhere: While at the local Value Village the other day, I happened to find hardcover copies of the AD&D 2nd Edition Player's Handbook and Dungeon Master's Guide for $2 each... excellent condition too, although the Monster Manual was nowhere to be found unfortunately :(

I went back today and happened to find a copy of Avalon Hill's RuneQuest v3 Pencil & Paper RPG for $2... it's complete (and in fairly good condition) except that it's missing the polyhedral dice (I have a bunch already anyways).

I'm not really into D&D, but my brother is, so I know he'll love this stuff.

This Is why I'm beginning to hate Salvation Army and Goodwill. As we already talked about above...They get something video game related in...FOR FREE....think they have a gold mine and try to sell it for ridiculous prices! But I guess they do it cause people buy it, ugh, I've seen 25.00 genesis's alll sold, 8.00 loose SNES all sold, etc. etc. I still refuse to pay the 10.00 asking price of the boxed TI-99 at mine.
