I just got my Panzer Dragoon Saga the other day.

Its sealed, but I'm wary.

I never had a Saturn, so I don't know how they packaged their games.

The one I received, has a soft platic seal, with a hanger on the back. Generic price tag placed on the front, with no store name..??

It looks new, but....?

I thought they used the mylar, or stiffer plastic, with the folded corners, on new games.

Considering, if they hung the game with the softer plastic, it would most likely tear the plastic right off.

Does anyone have a picture of a sealed PDS? Not from eBay, as they are all using the same generic pics.

Any knowledge, and/or help, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I bought a new Saturn game recently (Pro Pinball) and it had flimsy shrink wrap on it and a plastic hanger on the back. I thought it was just re-wrapped but the disc looked flawless.

Perhaps thats how Saturn games were packaged. (i didnt get one untill last fall)

Nope I've never owned (or played) a saturn, but here's a free bump for your topic. :P

I have an unopened copy of NASCAR 98 that has very flimsy plastic, too. I think it was just a cost-cutting move late in the Saturn's life.

I picked up about 7 or 8 new Saturn games from Wal Mart when they were blowing the games out. The shrinkwrap was flimsy. I got the games from a dump bin and in some cases the shrinkwrap was tattered.

I bought a lot of games new, including PDS, and they all had that flimsy shrink....they were cheap about it. But yeah, I'd e paranoid with PDS as well. If you're gonna crack it, crack it and check the discs :)

If not...assume it's legit.

Sega didn't even wrap the games in Europe, they just put some sticker on the side to keep you from opening them.

The sealed Saturn & Sega CD games that I have are all flimsily wrapped (and as were those that were sold when I breifly worked for Kame-Apart LOL )
