There are a ton of innocuous Sports and other titles that seem to have been BBV exclusives for Genesis, SNES, and N64. Anyone care to make a list of those so that I can look out for them?

Wasn't Dragonball Z Final Bout for PSX one of the Blockbuster exclusives?

Oh, and if these are blockbuster exclusives, why isn't there a blockbuster sticker on the back of my carts? Were they games just sold or were they actually all rentals?

Although blockbuster is supposed to be uniform...ie put rental stickers on all there carts, I found that certain stores do it , some don't....some use one type of sticker and others use a different one...for example I bought Razor from one blockbuster and it had the clear rental sticker on the front label, then I bought Clayfighter:sculpter's cut from another and it didn't have a sticker at all.....some blockbuster's only put a sticker over the UPC on the back of the boxes. some blockbusters cut the box itself up and put the whole thing in a plastic case....it's all a crap shoot when looking for these games. for the most part with the SNES exclusives I've found they put a sticker over the back label on the cart, but recently I found a Final Fight guy that didn't have a sticker. it's all random from what I can see.

the label/no label policy is simply pure laziness i think. it's very difficult to grab a complete collection of unstickered bb exclusives, but it can be done. some bb's sticker everything (as they're supposed to), while the ones that didn't seem to be understaffed, and management doesn't want to task out that work to themselves, lol...=^P

The N64 Indiana Jones wasn't technically a Blockbuster exclusive. They're the only place you could go in your town to get it but it was also sold online by LucasArts. That's how I got mine.

Yeah, neither my FFG or my Clayfighter Tourny was stickered

Now that I think about it, I find it kind of funny that Blockbuster, of all rental companies got LE Nintendo games. Afterall, Nintendo did take them to court a few times back in the 80's.

BBV did those blank Genesis carts called "Game Factory" too.

I know that (SNES)Ren and Stimpy: Firedogs was only available by rental, but i dont know if it was a blockbuster exclusive. Ren and Stimpy: Buckaroo$ may have been the same way.

true that, but lucasarts sold out rather quickly, and i don't think they ever restocked it, given the 6 times i tried ordering it. even more annoying, most blockbusters i went to didn't get the game at all, didn't know much about it, or got it and it was out of stock or people were renting it and not returning it.

i remember one shop had 3 or 4 of them behind the register with a bunch of new movies that had to be processed, and i asked about buying one, but the place was packed (holiday rush) and the manager was "too busy" to come tell the minimum wage weasels behind the register to stop worrying about $5 rentals and make a $50 sale. i did finally grab a complete one off ebay, though...=^P

Stunt Racer 64 or something like that by Midway was an exclusive.
