i need part no. mk 1479. 1461 is the genesis number. 1479 is the number of the cord.

Well, he is giving you something for free. You could find a way to simply live with it because it's not that big of a difference. Buy a short extension cord and plug it into the end of it and your problem is solved. Last of all, if it's that big of a deal.......get on ebay and find the genny 3 power supply. I'm sure alot of people have one but they probably aren't for sale. It's not like the genny 3 is a high dollar item but it is usually a little bit harder to find. when a component is harder to find......it's corresponding components are generally even harder to find.
