Hi,

I heard of a system the goes into the cartridge slot of the Famicom and had at list two features: uses little cartridges and permits barcode reading for extra gaming possibilities and extensions.

The guy said it is called "Datash"....

Who could clarify that???

Hmm... I've heard of the "Datach" card reading system... it came with a DBZ game I believe. Ask maxlords for more info as he had one.

So.... it's called DATACH!!!!

It explains why I found nothing in the net searching for "Datash"....

Thank you again!

Word of caution...don't be fooled by low prices on eBay; new units can be had (out of Japan, anyway) for around $30. If you wanna get one, you should probably go the eBay route, but watch how much you're willing to pay.

Actually, I sold mine quite quickly for $30 + shipping used.
