Just wondering. Lately I've been having all sorts of crazy dreams and some of them were game-related. I'm pretty sure it's because I just got into playing Armored Core, a new game for me.

the last game dream I had was about a week ago and here is how it went. I was at school and then everyone was dancing and I went outside and layed down and someone almost hit me with a car so I went back insaide and my friend said "i heard you skipped to go to goodwill" and i said"no!" then I ran out of school and got to good will and saw a bunch of genesis snes and nes games. A lot of the games for nes were sealed. I kept asking the lady to let me see all off the games but she jsut ignored me. She finnaly put the sega ones in a bag but I woke up before I got the sealed ones. I have dreams anout video games and skateboarding all the time.

I've had a reacuuring dream since I was a little kid that I was inside the Ghostbusters game for the Atari 2600. I was always fighting Zeul, or whatever the main bad guys name was in that game. I could never quite beat him though. I usually have the dream once or twice a year. Pretty odd.

Tetris ALL the time after I've been playing it.
SMB games where the level scrolls automatically, so you have to keep moving or you'll get pushed into a hole or something.. More like nightmares, actually!

You are that guy that I emailed when you were bidding on nes games on ebay and I asked you about skateboarding and collecting games. Well anyways, in my dream a couple days ago, a bunch of other stuff happend and I ended up at some little skatepark and there was an 8 set with a rail in the middle but going in teh way as a step so you had to ollie over it but couldnt grind it and I didnt have my board with me but then my friend let me use his and I ollied it. I didnt look at the board in the dream thogh. Ill try to next time.

The guys said sometime in the middle of the night I sat up and started babbling about Super Mario Bros. 3 (I have a history of talking in my sleep). They said they could only make out bits and pieces like "You gotta jump over that hole" and "Watch out for that guy". Needless to say I got endless ribbing over it and always worried on overnight trips what else I may babble about.

Funny you bring it up... after playing games for umpteen years, I have NEVER had a dream even remotely related to Video Games. LOL

other peoples dreams are okay sometimes. Just depends what it is. Tell us about your game dreams. What happens in them and stuff. I recently had one where I went to goodwill and my friend didnt see any games but then I looked behind the counder and there were at leat 200 genesis games with boxes. The lady said I could have them for freee as long as I took them all. So I called my friend and he picked me up but he said we needed to go to his house to get a bag for them tho he drove his car to the goodwill. So we went to his house but then he wanted to not go back. So we just stayed at his house and I was mad at him.

I've had a bunch of dreams where I find crazy unknown games at thrift stores. It's always disappointing to wake up from those.
However, one of the stranger ones was a long time ago before I even collected video games. I had a dream in which I was playing a SNES (presumably my SNES)... although that's the only part of the dream I remember. Although I didn't even think about it at the time, later on in the day, I was trying to think of something to do, and I thought "Hey! A game of Super Mario World would be fun!" and I got excited about the prospect of playing my SNES. Almost immediately, I realized that I didn't actually have a SNES, and I was just remember junk that I had dreamed the previous night. Very weird.

I almost started a thread on this subject myself but the dream I'm recounting is rather embarrassing since I'm a devoted family man and all. But what the hell? Just don't tell my wife, m'kay? :embarrassed:
The last vivid game-related dream I had was that I was at this bordello in Nevada. I paid the madame and waited for the girl I wanted to come in. Instead, in walks this girl who works at one of my local game shops. There's an Atari 2600 set up in the room and the girl says, "I thought we could play some Warlords first". I'm thinking in the dream that this is just wonderful; sex and classic video games all in one convenient package (http://www.digitpress.com/images/x-ariel/index4.htm). Next thing I know, an hour has gone by. The girl puts down the control and tells me that my time is up. O_O
What does this all this mean? As far as I can tell: 1) I really really don't want to be unfaithful to the missus. 2) I really really wish CGE were not moving out of Las Vegas. 3) I really really might spend too much time thinking about my hobbies. x_x
