Hey, how you buy auctions on ebay? Do you go for the big lots, take what you need and resell the rest? Or is it better to buy the games you need separatly? Maybe from the same seller to get a deal on shipping?

You tend to get better deals buying in big lots. It's just not worth the hassle for only one agme. Unless it's like a Quadrun. I usually buy singles.

When starting, big lots are the only way to go. Separately will over-inflate prices on shipping alone.

Midway, lots become less of an option, unless you don't mind absorbing extras. If this is fine with you, lots still work. At this point, single items from the same seller is best, to minimize shipping charges. It'll require more hunting to find the seller with multiple games you need, but if you want to spend less, it could be worth the time. At this point, it may be better to take your hunt to the wild, if you have enough resources to search.

Towards the end, big lots don't make sense unless the one game is really hard to find. If you don't mind reselling 99% of it, and taking the shipping charges hit, fine.

This is my strategy, take it as you will. When I started Genesis, I did big lots, then Funco's prices let me fill gaps cheaply, and now, eBay is most of what I do now to finish it. Hope that helps :)

Lots are great, but most are usually for loose games. If you're like me and want complete/sealed then prepare to shell out the cash.
