I the know Megaman games for the NES aren't that rare, but is there a reason these things are going for such high prices on ebay? Even in 2004, I don't pay over $15 for very many NES games. So what is the deal with Megaman? Are they just sought after more than your average game series?

EVERYONE loves Megaman. Everyone wants the game not to collect but to play. GameSTop is still asking like 15-20 bucks I think.

Right on, Marty. This is just like link and zelda for the nes, not rare at all, but in high demand because the games are that good. Mega Man 1, 5 and 6 are a bit rarer and do command a premium on the bay though. These are games you get your money's worth out of whether you are a collector or a player. :)

Actually, I find Megaman games pretty boring, I've never seen the huge interest in them. There pretty average, hard, and too annoying to be fun.
Give me Ducktales or Mario any day!

I won megaman complete in a lot today for 32 bucks along with 8 otehr games which some were boxed with instructions. In the last 2 minutes I was hoping the price would go a lot higher jsut so I wouldn't buy it and I wouldn't of have wasted my money but nope. My first nes megaman game to actually own myself though so I'm sort of happy.

Actually that is a really good question. I am guessing they go down a few bucks (give or take) but pretty much stay the same.

Yeah and since the collection will only be $30.00 thats an excellent price for this set.
