I have that book and the other 2 in the series plus the remake of the first issue. :D

I have all three books too. Actually, I have several NES books. The one I like the best is the Game Councillor's Book, published by Microsoft Press. That is a rare book (I believe).
As for that thing on the cover...I donno. Kinda reminds me of the enemy Blargg (SNES Super Mario World) with horns.
