I have a GG Battery pack the one that screws on the back of the GG. I charged it up and it was only lasting an hour and a half or so. Darn NiCd Batteries, I have been charging it and draining it a couple of times now to see if it would last longer. My question is, how is the battery suppose to last per charge?

At best, normal batteries in a Game Gear seem to max out at about 5-6 hours. I find that rechargeable battery packs in general often have worse performance, so I'd imagine around 3 hours for a new one. I hate how battery packs lose their charge over the years. I have an old Gameboy one that I used for a long time, and now it gets maybe 5 minutes worth of life out of a full charge. Oh well, I guess I got my money's worth over the 10 years or so that I used it for. I have some fairly new GBA ones that only give me around an hour or two, and I haven't even had them for a year! You'd think with all the breakthroughs in technology, someone would have managed to make batteries that didn't suck.
