This little beauty came into our store this evening via trade-in. I have never seen one before. The guy that traded it in told me a friend gave it to him. I was swift to secure it for myself.

It is indeed a US machine, as I can confirm it plays US software. It has Xbox Live pre-loaded on the hard disk. It doesn't play CDR's, though. :(

It came with a green controller(not unlike the one that you can buy at stores).

Anyone? Beuller?

Those are pretty rare. They were given out to people that closely worked for M$ on the xbox project.

I have seen pics of those. Looks pretty nice to me. Congrats. That green controller is like the coolest looking part.

that is obviously the most beautiful xbox i have ever seen... maybe i should hold out on buying an xbox until i find something nice like that... =P

yup, that's a promo xbox, given to companies that worked with Microsoft on the xbox project in some way....I've also see a version that says 2001 launch team, and signed by bill gates....the only 2 I've seen have sold between 600 and 700 bucks, so definitly a great find.

Wow, I am so way beyond jealous. I'm drooling all over the keyboard......yet angry, why do things like this never happen to me :( Anyways, I'm glad it found it's way to a great home at the very least. It could end up in some fewls hands that would just pawn it off to ebay. Man.....I'm off to smack my jealousy with a stick.... O_O

That is pretty killer. Even though it IS Bill Gate's signature. (Actually, my Mac SE has Woz and Jobs' sigs in it... technically. ;) )

I'm more a fan of the Japanese solid White one, but I'd LOVE to have that one. My friend who introduced me to Halo, would be the most jealous sumbitch. Ha!

Oh well.. I'll live with the one I have unless I one day stumble onto a cooler one.

I would like a solid white GameCube/GBP combo though. Anyone have a Nintendo screw to open it up? I feel a hack job coming on. ;)
