So here's my question. Should I work at Funco for the holidays? The story:

I went into my local Funco as usual, looking for anything as usual. I start talking to the guys there, good bunch of eggs, and the manager, Don, asks me if I would want a 10+ hour a week job working there.

Now previously, I was thinking about going to Best Buy for sick DVD discounts. Of course, I found out from one of the Funco guys that you have to wait 3 months for discounts, so well screw Best Buy.

Just for the holidays, extra cash, and discounts, ohhhh, discounts. When December rolls around, they have a period where everything in the store is 30% off, except new systems! Fantastic,

Now here's my situation. I already work a fulltime, 40 hour a week. I make good bank, and the Funco check will be basically blown as I recieve it. I used to work at EB, which sucked the anus, one because my boss was fucking crazy (medically crazy!) and, well, EB sucks.

So what should I do? Does working at Funco also suck? The guys I would be working with are all cool guys. I'm torn.

I say go for it. I only work once every 2 weeks (because of school) I drive 60 miles to get there that ONE day (until X-Mas break comes around) The pay pays for that days gas, plus the discounts. The manager offered me this option because he didn't want me to quit. So, you could say, I'm only keeping this job for the discounts.

Discounts (even the current 20%) are great. It's not just your store either, but Babagges, Funco, Software Etc, and Gamestop. Not to mention, that if anyone in your family is a reader, you get your discount and Barnes & Noble & B.Dalton.

Anime DVDs and some New DVDs does Funco also carry.

Thanks for the advice. I specifically asked for your help on this bc I knew you are a Funco employee.
