Today I receive an international money order in the mail. I have no clue why the sender purchased an international one since it was definately shipped from inside the USA based on the $.37 stamp on the envelope. But other than that, the sender included zilch for information. No name, auction number, or return shipping info. Not even a return address on the envelope. I have no freaking clue what this is for. Based on the amount I'm assuming that it's for a strategy guide but I've sold about 50 of them the past few weeks.
somehow I'm sure that I'll get the negative for this one though

Just don't cash it and wait for him to contact you. Simple as that.

Check the zipcode or city on the Stamp cancellation mark (the black stamp mark on the $.37 stamp.)
Then check your End of Transaction notices from Ebay.
They'll have the city and zipcode of the winning bidder on them.
That should give you an idea. 8-)

Well, I'm not really looking for advice on what to do, after all, doin nothing until someone contacts me is really my only option.
It just amazes me that someone would send another person money without including any contact information or even a shipping address that they want their purchase sent to.

Happens to me on average about twice a month.
Ebay is home to some of the most stupid people alive. :o

Yea stupid people are plentiful on Ebay. I had some lady a month ago send a check to me. My auction clearly states I dont accept checks. On top of that, the lady didnt write an amount on the check at all.

Somebody once sent me a $300+ check (I don't remember the exact amount) made payable to his phone company. That's been the funniest one I've dealt with so far.

I hope you're not an evil man!
This is why I deal strictly with Paypal, people are stupid! But then again I have had some fuck ups with paypal too....
Lots of time people pay for one item and not pay shipping
I've had em pay for multiple items and expect shipping not to change
A few times I've had em pay for an item more than once :D
Then of course you get the "I didn't see that you only accept Paypal" stuff. When it says it on the auction 4 times!
Ugh, when will they get a clue!

I always like the ones who send me a note they printed off their E-mail with MY home address on it.
