I got some Rare Dreamcast Stuff today!

I bought a bundle of dreamcast stuff today -

Included with the system and a few games were some stuff that I think may be rare...

-Sonic Adventure Limited Edition (Complete, with the full manual that has the advert on the back)
-Sega Dreamcast Official System Disk v.2
-4 pre release games that are burned onto official Sega GD-R disks. They have GD-R labels with the games name written on them.

I bought these from a guy who used to do game reviews for a news publication, so the system disk and the GD-R games were pre release, Very Cool! (at least to me)

So, I know that Sonic Adv Limited is sought after but what about the Official System Disk? I have not tried to use it with imports as of yet to see if it would load, but I assume that it would load back-ups since it seems to be loading the official industry back-ups.

okay instead of getting your little faces for comments let me re-phrase: has anyone seen Dreamcast system disks & or official pre-release GD-R games circulating at all or did I just hit something RARE-tastic?

I've got an Official Pre-Release GDRom beta of Tokyo Xtreme Racer, but it won't boot without the system disk. The GD Roms aren't that special, but that system boot disc sure is.

The boot disc is pretty rare....like you'll find tons of proto GD-roms, and find one system disc.

they are in circulation, but i do only know of less than 10 system discs !!! (and i'm active on some dc boards), gd-r's are not that rare, but if you have an unreleased game in there you are a very lucky man :)

I doubt they are rare... but while I'm at it I'll list everything that I got in this purchase:

I got all this for $40 bucks. I'm very happy with it.

And on a side note I got Psyvariar & Shenmue today, and WOW, good games. Dreamcast obsession_On.

I can't get redline racer to work though! The other ones work fine, but I dont know what the deal is with those.

I dont mind scanning/ taking a digital image of the GD-Rs & the System Disk - but I dont have any space to host the images, someone would have to help out with that - pm me on that and I'll email the image tonight for all to enjoy.

Redline Racer was released in the US as Suzuki Alstare Extreme Racing, I believe.

CAn anyone give me some recomendations for DC games?

So far I have recently picked up: Crazy Taxi 2, Psyvariar 2, Shenmue, Ikaruga & Rez.

What else should I get? I want to create a collection of pinnacle Dreamcast games...
