If you find out where to get one, I'd be interested in one as well! :D

I used to see these in magazines all the time. Runs on some sort of software emulator. Some (all?) don't have sound, if I remember correctly.

I remember seeing ads for these back when EGM had advertizements in the back for stores... like, for instance, Funcoland ads with a pricelist.

Well, #1......how does it work? Software bla bla bla isn't close enough. Does it use the port on the back of the original model or the memory card port or........? I'm lost here but I'm sure somebody can fill us all in. Any particulars on how it all works out?

Anyways, 20 questions is over.....pending the answers on some I may be interested. I have a psone......so I may be limited in options. As well, I'm sure other people as well as me will want a general price range, if not something carved in stone. Let us know! :D

"Emulator 'Z' Cartridge ! The Emulator 'Z' allows you to relive the golden days of gaming by allowing you to play your own archives of SEGA Master System, Game Gear, Gameboy, and Turbo Grafx 16 (PC Engine) games on your Sony PlayStation console, and also works as a Plugin mod chip. It works by loading the games off of a CD, and playing them using some advanced emulation techniques. Of all the devices I've seen for the PlayStation, this is definitely the coolest! Furthermore the Emulator 'Z' has a fully Action Replay compatible cheat code function build in and allows to play games."

OR

"PlayStation Goldfinger 3-in-1 ! Did you ever wish to play black & white Game Boy titles on a big TV? Here comes the solution. You can plug your original Game Boy cartridges into this adapter and play them with your PlayStation controller on a big screen. As a small extra, this item features a built-in cheat cartridge (for PlayStation games) letting players do things like enabling infinite lives or skip to higher levels and more."

First one runs around 15us and 30us for the 2nd.

Check sites like easybuy2000.com for em. (Dont know if they have em.. just a guess)

A canadian company. I used to order bulk ps1 chips and modplugs from them back in the day, good service.

sph1nx nailed in on the head with #2 although the place where I go sells a device that plays gbc games as well, I don't remember sound being able to work on the thing and it's only 25 bucks. I'll send photos of mine if anyone wants them.

I don't think you have to plug in a regular cart, it just plays regular GB games though.
