I know someone mentioned this in the "New TV Games" thread, but I don't think anyone confessed to owning one. So...anyone got this yet? What is on it? Worth it? Do you have nightmares about diddling Spongebob's nose to play videogames?

SOMEBODY DUMP THE ROMZ!!!!!!
But it won't be the same without the schnozzola controlla.
I just want to know what the hell it is. Are the games graphic hacks or new games?

This page says it has 5 unique games, and has screenshots.
My two year old loves Spongebob and loves gaming, so I'm sure I'll be able to give a full report this weekend.
In the meantime ...

Edit: Descriptions.
Invasion of the Hooks: Rescue SpongeBob's friends from the dangerous hooks trying to snag them! It's up to you to help SpongeBob get them unhooked by bopping the hooks before they reach the surface. Beware -- some hooks are faster and need more hits than others!
Patrick and the Maze: Patrick is in a Maze again! And he needs your help to find his friends and escape the coral corridors! There will be a few tasks to accomplish along the way, as well as unwelcoming sea creatures, so be careful!
The Super Chum Bucket: Plankton's at it again! In his endless attempts to get the secret Krabby Patty recipe, he's holding Sandy as ransom until SpongeBob gives it up. Never fear! SpongeBob is on his way to rescue Sandy.
Sandy's Surf Adventure: Surf's UP! Help Sandy rid Bikini Bottom from henchmen and a mean giant bull worm! Watch those harmless looking sea horses, they're not nice!
Bubble Pop: Bubbles can be bad too, especially when they're all falling on Bikini Bottom. There are a lot of bubbles to pop with SpongeBob's own bubble that he bounces at them. Be quick and pop them all to break down the barrier blocking the entrance to bikini bottom.

Is it just me or does it look like Sandy and Spongebob are farting in those screen shots?
Sorry, don't know why the sudden obsession with this thing. Must be the ADHD kicking in.

Wow, talk about getting them interested early. Can he actually play the games, or does he just stare at the screen while frantically wriggling the joystick? That's what my stepdad's grandkid did when he played my Genesis.

That's my other thing. I really hope someone has ripped one of these apart b/c I want to know what the hardware is. The screenshots look kinda NES-esque. I just am really curious about what it is.

i plan on getting my 6year old sister one something this weekend. I've let her borrow my gameboy color with Super Mario Deluxe and she's started to really take a liking to video games and has beaten many levels on the mario game... so i figured she might like this... if i get it, i'll play it... uh... so i can tell yall about it.... yea... thats why...lol

Ditto as per my earlier comment. If this thing ever gets priced to 10 bucks or something I will grab one. Spongebob goofiness be damned. I'm actually a little fond of the cartoon, sadly, catering to the homogonized industry that entertainment has become, but I digress! The games themselves look neat.

Depends on what we're playing. He's actually 2 years, 2 months, and he's seen me play a few games so it's not brand new to him. Right now he plays Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness for Dreamcast. He can't get very far, but he can move the controller around and make her go in what direction he wants. He doesn't "get" a lot of the goals in the level yet. Actually he likes just about any 3D free-roaming platformer (like Spongebob and Scooby Doo for the PS2) where he can just walk around and explore things.
He is also learning Shinobi ... he can move left and right, jump and shoot but wastes his Ninja Magic way too early. ;)

Spongebob alternatively scares me and has me in stitches...don't watch the show but his hillarious countenance sends me into hysterics/scares me.
I can just imagine what it'd be like if the joystick controller got grimy like all my other gamepads and somebody tried to pick it up..."eww it's slimy!" Heh.
I'd say the screenshots remind me of the SNES more than anything...lots of similar tiles, high number of colors, some neat effects and stuff going on (Super FX chip, not quite, but close :P)
Looks like another winner from JAKKS TV Games! W00t!
