Very Nice!! I agree, the CV has faults, but it's a rock solid system. I just successfully replaced a stock internal CV pwer switch with a new Ratshack replacement part. They all eventually seem to fail (power switch), and the fix made for a nice clear sharp pic.

ColecoVision has killer graphics for a pre-crash system.

When you get the chance, post (or private message) the Ratshack part number for that switch. I'm just about due to perform a Colecoectomy.

It's VERY close to the original. It was a neat trick getting it to play nice with the original external slider toggle though. It's "stiffer" than before, but wow, what a clean humless picture!

I'm no expert, but I am getting better at this repair stuff. If I don't learn to fix 'em, where will these consoles be in 10 years?

I'm doing my personal unit next. IME, most broken ColecoVisions, likely have a buggered switch.
