Hi! This is my first post here! Well, I'm from Brazil, I have a little collection (see in my signature). I have a good english, I think I won't have much problems with it. :D
Well, I have 2 games, I need you guys appraise it.
They are:
Final Fantasy VIII ( Original version, factory sealed )
Psychic Detective ( near mint condition )

How much they can cost? Thanks for all! :D

FFVIII is worth about $5 probably...or you can get more use out of it using the instructions as toilet paper, and the cd as a coaster. :)

I'm sure you have at a bare minimum $50 with that FFVIII, on eBay I'd imagine that it would go for at least $100... assuming this is the US release.

What Querjek is talking about is that if FF8 is the non greatist hits version. And if its factory sealed, it can go for quite a good amount. Ever check the online auctions for sealed non GH FF tactics or FF7? They can go for quite a good amount.

I completely based my guess off of past eBay observations... and that's what the actual search turns up. I guess $100 is pushing it a bit, but it could happen with today's insanity.

Or you can PM kevincure and ask for his all mighty playstation knowledge. I am sure he could give a good estimate on value.

First of all, i went to 3 video game stores in Philly yesterday and there were copies of FFVIII at each of em for like 15-20 bucks...second of all, i wasn't making fun of his english, i didn't understand what he said. Ok! It needs to be the original version, can't be Greatest Hits. Needs to be factory sealed, totally mint condition, withoud any crack, excellent wrapper. Please, look at the corners, they usually have cracks. Thanks for all! :)

Well, the demand is not that high, but this is an old game (and I love it!) and it's not that common. Don't forget to get me a copy! :D

I'm sure there are loop holes......but I've searched high and low for this game. Because if I could pick up any psx sealed titles from the FF series that wasn't greatest hits. I would be all over it. I searched 8 states and found nothing.....none of those states included Penn. but....ya never know. I really doubt 3 places had them new and sealed but who am I to judge. Make sure there's no retarded green label and you may have found yourself some friends or some $$. I usually look for stuff like this so I can sell it on ebay and instantly have more $$ to boost my collection, or my pc.....whatever needs love that week ;)

Well I would love to see this magical place that has tons of FF8 non gh sealed. Inevitably anytime someone says game x is worth y, someone has to be a smart ass and state oh that games not rare my store near me has tons of em. Well if your store does thats great but in the other 99.9% of the world it is hard to find and/or rare. Hell I considered it a miracle my BB hat ff anthology and chronicles gh, and I got the last ones they had.
