Hey...I've been doing some DC buying recently - the main problem is that even though the games are dirt cheap (even on ebay, only ~ 10% of the library sells for over10- complete!), the shipping costs buying individually would kill me. I have about 30 games, but if someone has a huge (maybe 100- worth) collection of doubles, I'd be willing to pay low-ebay for it and get you some cash.

Also, I'm on the hunt for Sonic LE. Does *anyoen* have this?

Sorry I can't help you, but I do feel your pain on shipping costs. I've been selling a lot of cds and I can say that on average it costs me to ship 1 cd with case/booklet/etc. in a bubble mailer about $1.50 going first class. And that's including the price of the bubble mailer, which seems to be doing a fine job of getting the discs to their destinaton un cracked. How $5 became standard shipping costs for a cd game is beyond me. Even mailed out in a box going priority mail, we're talking three something, tops.

I charge $3 when I sell. It costs 2.71 for a large bubble wrap mailer and media mail at the Post Office, so it seems fair. It just makes it so that I would never buy a 5 dollar game if the total was 8 bucks.

Depends... Priority box with Delivery Confirmation (very common) is $4.30. Perhaps the $0.70 is just a "travel to the PO" fee?

Me, I always factor postage into my bids. If the seller says postage is $5 and I want spend $10 at most, then I only bid $5.

Yeah, there could be confirmation, insurance, etc. My thing is, when they just say "shipping $5" and don't mention any of those factors. Sure, you can bring the shipping to $5 easily, but what frosts me is when I've paid $5 for shipping and the damn thing comes in a reused box (which costs the seller nothing) via media and I can see on the package it only cost $1.48 or whatever. That's more what I'm talking about.
