Not that I had the money to buy it, but if I did, I might have. That was very tricky. I didn't even notice that the game wasn't included.

Sorry if this is a n00b question but why does this game go for so much?

Were there only a limited amount made making it exceptionally rare? Or is there just something special about?

It seems the three games Hot Shots, Bubble Bath Babes and Peek a boo Poker were made by the same company, PANESIAN, and all go for high prices.

Yup, they are just hard to find. Search on ebay and you will only get 1 listing at the most for each game. I guess Panesian just produced a very limited quantity of the games.

I had to do my duty to email the bidder and make sure he knows that it's just box/manual. If he wants to pay $300 for the box/manual, fine. As long as he knows it's just for that.

When I first saw it, I was thinking about buying it. Then I saw it was only the box and instructions. Bull. This guy should be pulled off ebay.

My apologies that were an auction I threw up there. I'd wanted to put "game manual" in the title as game is a hot search word. I would maybe add a subtitle to do that clearly next time. As for the rest of the auction:

"Here is an auction of the box and instructions to Hot Slots"

There is no picture of the game itself, no where in there did it say "Game is included", in fact it says what you'll eed to complete the game itself is a box and manual, and that is exactly what is included in this auction.

And at the bottom it says new pictures of the Box and manual are coming soon."

Ey, there’s Nothing wrong with keeping the game but the selling a box. Oh and I made sure the buyer new it wasn't a game, he didn't have to buy it. Next time there will be one of those disclaimer things.

HAha I love it! Loneeagle 42, a cherry picker’s scapegoat poster child, LOL

It’s no ones FAULT other than YOUR own if you got a bad reactionary trigger finger I think. May I suggest "pulling" yourself from which class you currently take in favor for a remedial reading coures. It may be time better spent instead of going to waist appearing to spend time on ebay, finger poised over the buy it now "without" carefully reading. Let's just get early enrollment going for special education where anyone who didn't learn to read when they were 6-10 has the chance for a brighter future k :P

Rolland, I've never been one to attack other sellers on ebay. In fact, I've always been the one to say "let the buyer beware". But c'mon, level with us, you purposely worded that auction in a way that you were hoping would trick the bidders into thinking that the game was included.

That auction was worded in a way that I'd assume that the seller either a) spoke broken English or b) was a lawyer and knew how to word something in a way to make it look like something it was not.

I'm not the eBay police and I won't email your bidders (I'll leave that for others here x_x ). But please don't try to bullshit us, we've seen it all on ebay.

slime, given the rank and reflection in that statement I don't intend to dignify with comment but I will say it was one of those accident things you know like when "you" were still born even though mommy didn't want "you". Consider that you your either or ultimative cornering of myself is perhaps flawed in more ways then have appeared to you.

I let him know that it is just the box and wording that goes along with the game, yes he bid mistakenly, no he doesn't have to buy it regardless of portnnoy's vigilanteism.. Go ahead and condemn your own mother while your at it just be sure there's a stadium events in it for you and that she's not smuggling a rodland in her crack.

A couple points:

1. I feel that our argument is validated in some small way because the person who started this thread thought it was complete. What you have to realize is that there are people who will read "game manual and box" as "game, manual, and box", and BIN it anyway, without thinking, to try and get the deal before it disappears. Your wording in the auction states clearly that it is just box and manual - but you have to remember, there are a lot of people who don't even read that info at all. It also may have helped if you had a pic of the manual itself, and the case open clearly showing no game.

Yes, it's nitpicking, but BF's initial post is, at least, my validation. A simple "box and manual ONLY" or "NO GAME INCLUDED" would have prevented all this.

2. Hey man, I find it hard to believe that you would have posted that box/manual at that price had loneeagle4u not bid like he did. And I'll admit, it's his and vidkid640's fault too. The last loose panesian box I remember being up peaked at $50!

3. Your entire argument falls to pieces when you brought up that "killing, slaughter, butcher, cannibals" rant. This is a thread about eBay, not personal politics. (Also, if you figure that 'all' of us are the same, then clearly you are as bad as the people you bastardize.)

4. And as contrast to previous accusations regarding eBay forum mishaps, I said I contacted the buyer to make sure he was knowing what he getting into to. We can't read your mind, or his. Here's my logic (flawed in your eyes or not):

- The buyer knows it's just box/manual: Pays, moves on with his life.
- The buyer doesn't know, but doesn't care: Pays, moves on with his life.
- The buyer doesn't know, but cares: Doesn't pay. If he had paid, he would most likely be fairly mad that he has no game.

That's what I was trying to prevent. In my mail to the buyer, I made no statement saying 'you're overpaying' or 'you're an idiot'. (I'm trying to keep those feelings to myself, and to nonpublic forums)

Jesus. I hate people sometimes - I really, really do.

Port-dude :) I think is pretty right, I'm glad you saw that stuff and that I don't know if I was being a real "reactionary" or if anyone else is. Lest let bygones be bygones, you put it in perspective but I realized that stuff has no place and I forgot about it thankfully. It appears to look like I sometimes forgot it was just a message board. I did edit a post but it seemed to be a few minutes before you clicked post too. I didn't like it still and would have cleaned it up some but it's time to let it be.

All I think you should have done, Roland, is actually throw in a line in the description heading that said:

THIS IS BOX AND MANUAL ONLY! THERE IS NO GAME!

Beyond that, I don't think you did anything wrong. As long as the seller knows beforehand what he's getting and still is okay with paying it, good job on finding a sucker. LOL

Thanks for hearing me out. I saw that edit, and that was good of you. I was just hoping that this thread didn't degenerate into a certain one from recent memory, and it looks like we're ok now.

Ah ok glady, I'll see about using a subtitle in the title that says that. And uh Griking disregard that little remark most of it is stuff I didn't even make up and it sound like you just offered advice, so alright. I'll pay good attention to it.

I think there's good points on both sides here, BUT I'd like to say myself that I saw the auction before this post AND noticed immediately it was box and man only. I didn't find it misleading at all...
