Yesterday me, my cousin, and my grandma were buying my cousin a new cell-phone at circuit city for his birthday(he broke his old one's antenna) and I decided to check out the video game section. while browsing I found somethign near the final fantasy:chrystal chronicles games. A small box with 4 magnets, each representing something about the games classes(?), and it was free with the game. My dark side told me to just take the already opened box, but it was right by the counter.
So what do you think, will it be rare, or will it go for 2 dollars on eBay? Also, should i buy FF:CC?

FF:CC wasent all that great of a game IMO. everyone else seems to love it tho... just rent it before you buy it.

This is off subject, but MarioAllStar2600, that avatar rocks.
As for Final Fantasy CC, I haven't played it myself.

From what I can gather out of your post, they are giving away 4 magnets free with the purchase of FF:CC? Personally, no, they won't be rare or be commanding high prices on eBay. Promo items just don't seem to do that anymore.
As for the game, no idea.

Those aren't magnets, they're pins. They've been giving them out free everywhere.

The large box that each retailer recieved had about 20 of each class of pins, a few button down/collared shirts, lanyards, posters, etc.

I've put about 11 hours into Final Fantasy: CC with three other people. As a four player game, I find it to be a blast. Usually the only four player games I get to play are versus each other, so it's a nice change of pace to actually work together instead of killing each other. Off the top of my head, the only other 4 player games that I regularly play where all 4 players work together are Nightmare on Elm Street for the NES and Perfect Dark for the N64 (well, when we take on the CPU as a team at least). I could be forgetting a couple of other games, but FF:CC is way, way, way more in-depth than the others I listed.
If you're planning on playing FF:CC with a few friends, I'd say go for it. However, if you're looking to play it alone, I might have to advise against that. I haven't tried FF:CC solo (and I don't know if I ever will), but I just think the game is targeted towards the multiplayer aspect. I don't think it would make that great of a one player game IMO.

OK sorry that didn't make any sense. What they were was 4 magnets in a box, and each magent had a logo that each respresented a class. You get the magnets if you buy the game. As for what I am buying, I decided on Amped(X-Box) and Metroid:Zero Mission. I don't have any friends that have the time or want to do play FF:CC, but isntead want to play Bond 007 or Halo.

Wrong. Although Cmos was close...
We got the pins (4 different color/symbol combinations), a couple of lanyards and the magnets were a seperate promotion. We still have several sets of these in a drawer at my store, I've been meaning to take some home but haven't ever remembered to do so. They're supposed to be free w/ the purchase of the game but honestly it hasn't sold that well at our store and no one has even asked about them. I've still got all the buttons and the lanyard around here somewhere, as well as a nice marquee for some Nintendo games (FF:CC, MK:DD and MP5). Hope that helps...
Oh, and you should probably just ask whoever is working in that dept. real nice and they'd probably give you a set.
