I hate to ask longshot questions, but does anyone know if thier were ever any FF3 Action figures released. I'd love to have a Locke and Shadow for my room :-P . I've been on a bing with buying figures/posters etc on Ebay/at thrift shops as os late to decorate my rather bland Game room

I'm about 99.999999998789853% certain that no such things exist.

I actually remember they might have had something like this for sale in the back of magazines in a section called "gamer's cave" or something, might have been more like figurines though, I'll see if there is anything there if at all..

That is the sort of thing that would have been for sale there, but, sadly, they don't exist :( I really wanted Sabin, Cyan, Terra, and Mog, too :(

I am becoming more certain there are some out there that were out around the time of FF:Anthologies, could be because I remember a chocobo action figure from either those magazines or in a store. If there is something, yeah it would be nice.Did anyone know a final fantasy 6 "specific" anime existed? Well it did, a frind I know will have it soon.

Only FF related figures I know of came out with F7 and higher.

Yeah, that is unfortunate. FFVI is my favorite FF game and action figures would have been neat.

Actually, there are figuirines, not action figures available. They're Diecast. I know Locke and Terra/Celes exist for sure...well, Celes OR Terra one of the two. Also, I know there are ceramic "scenes" - I've seen the Opera house scene, as well as one from FFV.

StrychNiNE, I also remember a cactuar guitar, I hope I can find a pic of that thing. It was from the series as those limited scenes you mentioned.

PICS NOW!

Heh, of course :D

I've actually only seen the "scenes" on ebay ONCE. Which may mean that they were a doujinshi creation - but the quality and the fact that I think they had SOME companies logo stamped on the bottom - makes me think otherwise.

For pics of figurines:
Here's Terra (FFVI):

And here's Lenna (FFV):

I actually was retarded and passed up a chance to buy Locke on ebay a year or so ago!! I justified my way out of buying it..."Well, it doesn't do anything...You don't really need it...." and let it go for something like...20 bucks. *Hits self*

Yeah...anyway, hope you enjoy the pics. I'll see if I can find somemore.

You can tell that the figures were made in Japan because they have the real names. I could never understand why they would make such silly name changes when Nintendo localized the games. Tina > Terra??? Come on! is "Tina" Too Japaneese for us??? also, I feel Mash was a much cooler name than Sabin. Oh well at least we dont have to worry now that the games keep the names the same.

You can try this huge link, it searches the term Final Fantasy on Yahoo JP auctions with photo results. Maybe you'll find something there

http://search.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/search?sb=desc&desc=%a5%d5%a5%a1%a5%a4%a5%ca%a5%eb%a5%d5%a5%a1%a5 %f3%a5%bf%a5%b8&acc=jp&&f=0x12&at=true&alocale=0jp

Hope that helps

Fatal Fury 3 figures > Final Fantasy 3 figures

Either way, pretty good stuff :)

Personally, I think that Tina is ugly very ugly, I want like an action figure or a stand alone scene that thing woould go good next to my monitor for I don't like gold, and I was looking for more along the lines: Cyan, Shadow, Locke, or possible the long shot Kefka ;)

Something that I don't understand: Why is Tina's hair blueish on her sprite while it is blond in all concept art?

My friend, there are much greater mysteries in the RPG universe...
