JVC x'eye ac adapter.. question

Hey guys, couldn't find the answer I needed on the net so I'll ask the experts.

The X'eye ac adapter appears to be proprietory. The polarity appears to be reversed rather than the genny model 2/ game gear ac adapter 10v. The actual voltage on the jvc manufactured ac is 9.5 (although I don't think 10 would damage it) is there a common ac adapter out there that is sufficient replacement for the JVC one? Thanks in advance!

The Genny 2 works fine with it.

I've used a Genny 2 cord with my X'eye for a while now.

Thanks man, I could've sworn I always used a genny 2 ac with mine also, put it away for a loong time than came across an x'eye with original hookups and figured i just misplaced the original ac adapter that came with it, as long as it didn't fry after the first hour it looks like a perfect replacement.
