Vib Ribbon is incredible!

Just got Vib Ribbon and I'm blown away by how bizarre and fun it is! We'll see how long the infatuation lasts, but right now it easily make my top ten games of all time list (others "definites" being Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Tempest 2000, and Super Metroid)...

What are your thoughts on the game?

(if there is an old thread on this feel free to point to it, but I didn't see one in my search :) )

I'm jealous that you've been able to play it!
First, I bought the game. Wouldn't work with a bootdisc, and I don't want to mod my psone - no point, better to mod the ps2 - but then I thought I would just buy a japanese ps2 when the price drops....
So, I downloaded the iso, Japanese AND PAL. Neither work.
I just wanna play *sob*!

This game DOES look like its a ton of fun - however, its sequels: Mojib Ribbon and Vib Ripple - they don't look like they were as a well formed concept as the original, I guess I shouldn't prejudge Vib Ripple - but Mojib Ribbon at least seems like it wouldn't be as fun as Vib Ribbon - if anyone has played it, feel free to correct me.

Yea, I got that cool game a couple of weeks ago, I really like that it's got a kind of artistic touch to it with the minimalist graphics and all. I was able to finish the 3 courses on the first weekend I got it though (mind you, I consider myself a very bad gamer actually, others might beat it in an hour or so ;), and custom CDs are just way too hard for me. Also the synching isn't as optimized as it is with the default tracks :/
