Hi Folks. I should be getting a Famicom system soon w/o ac adapter. Does anyone know what I would need to do to use it on an American power outlet? The guy I'd be buying it from says I can just use an NES plug...is this true?

Umm, ok, then If I don't have the adapter, is there some kind of universal I can use. Would I still need to convert the voltage to anything somehow?

No need to convert just un plug it from the wall when not in use.
Just look for one on ebay or something.

Hi again ;-)

I heard something about them running on AC current and that we are on AC or something like that...would this pose an issue?

Or actually, Michael, you said I can just unplug when not in use...have you used this technique?

Thanks so much!

Yours,
Rob
