Dig this... in the early 80's, before the CD-ROM format became popular, there were actually a few games written on vinyl records for the Spectrum computer. One game was released by The Thompson Twins, a British band which helped define the music of the 1980's. Another 80's band, Information Society, buried a secret message in one of its albums, which could only be read with a modem set at a very low baud rate.

I'm pretty sure I've heard of a flexi 7" that was given away with an early UK computer mag aswell. No idea where I read it though.

So little good stuff put out on CDs...
