I bid 30 for one of these, it was misspelled, so nobody bid on it. it went for 31 on me. had i bid 50, which i should have, it would have been mine. this is one of those things where i don't pay much attention to anything snes, even rare like this, until i miss it.

About a year ago i was playing Starfox Adventures on the Cube, at the time i was collecting anything starfox (snes) related.. So i'm searchin through ebay..

I see this as a Description "Snes Starfox Plus + bonus" So i think maybe a book or some promo item, i click the link and he's selling starfox (retail version complete/mint) and as a bonus he's adding Starfox Comp cart *mint*, which he thinks was from a game competition.. (ohhhhhh i see?? :roll: )

I think mmmmmmmmm!! 7 day auction, 2 days to go..(And No bids) i'll offer the seller $50 for the 2 games, he gets back and says fine, i pay wit paypal and have it in my hands 6 day's later! ahhhhhhhhhh satisfaction!!

Hi everyone. Yes feel free to bid on the StarFox Cart, all bids are welcome :) I agree when people charge $20 for shipping an item that would cost $3.85 is just wrong, so I never do that. I'm glad my auction is getting some attention. I really didn't want to part with it, but money situations demand it. I also have the Donkey Kong Competition Cart, however I am much more reluctant to give that one up. I was in the competition for that one, so it holds some memories for me, but who knows maybe I will list it at some point too.

i know how you feel. someone on assembler about a year ago posted that they had one and wanted to sell it for about $50. i emailed the seller and said i would take it because i couldn't pass it up, but i didn't get paid for about another 4 days so i emailed them again and asked if it would be okay if i could pay then and have them hold it but they never replied and sold it to someone else instead :(. oh well.

I'v noticed that when there hasn't been a Snes comp cart up for auction (for a while :o ), people get alittle jumpy when one or both get mentioned. LOL

Just out of interest, (I know it's not for sale.....yet!) But what kind of condition is the DKC cart in?

It has been quite some time since the competition and my memory evades me. There must have been some kind of promotional items because I heard about it somewhere. I know I got quite a bit of literature before the compeition, booklets suggesting the best ways to practice, coupons for free game rentals of Donkey Kong and Judge Dread (the other game they were having a competition for at the time), pack of cards, etc. So I'm sure something is out there somewhere. Yes a bit off topic, but interesting nontheless.
