Blazing Dragons .. OK. Burning Rangers, ok price. Shining Force 3 .. great price. Not likely to find much better these days ... although I have to brag that I snagged one a few months ago from ebay for £25 because it was listed badly! :D

Dunno about the Gamegear games, but at £3 each you can't go far wrong ...

Bubble Bobble £4.99 .... GREAT score! It's worth 8 or 9 times that, easily.

Me? Well, I'm smiling because of this ..

Yeah baby. And my Saturn VCD card for £13 arrived today, along with Tryrush Deppy. Which I paid $40 for. Not sure if that's good or bad, but I have wanted to try it for ages, so I don't care! Just looked through the manual and box art. Looks exactly my sorta game .. can't wait to try it!

Found some good stuff at Goodwill today. There was a dirty (always seems to be the case at Goodwill) but completely scratch-free (and pretty clean inside the cart port) Super NES Model 2, for $5! I was amazed...that's less than what they sell Genesis systems for. It came with all the hookups (only thing that looked a bit rough was the A/V cable where it connects to the TV, everything else looked like it wasn't plugged in or removed often) , a third party second controller, and both inserts (manual, warning booklet).

There were four SNES games there; one was some EA Baseball title, another was something which I've forgotten about already, and the last two were Pacman 2 and Super The ESRB Strike Back (well, okay, Super Empire Strikes Back). Both came with the manuals, in very decent condition!

There was also a loose Mario/Duck Hunt cartridge, priced the same as the SNES games ($2.99) which I passed up. I'm sure it'll be gone when I go back.

That's not all, though...there were two red Nintendo (the N logo is a white decal on the spoiler) racing cars with "FX" on the side, c. 1991. I found one at my work a few weeks ago, and now I've got two more, which actually have the Nintendo decal applied properly! $.29 each...a bit expensive, but not terrible :)

$12.something for everything :)

I bought a copy of Panzer Dragoon Zwei for $10 from a friend, all it needs is a manual.

he also threw in these NES games:
Bases Loaded 3
Cobra Command
Star Wars (Boxed, no manual)
Disney Adventures in the Magic kingdom (complete)
Little Nemo: The Dream master (complete)
Metroid (Complete, Canadian)

today was a good day :D

Friends let friends know that their stuff is worth money ;)

Guess it keeps stuff like I just bought coming into Goodwill, so...

I checked out another Goodwill today, and the first game item I saw was a Genesis game storage case! I think it's just for carts, which works perfectly since the buggerly things always seem to accumulate in my house. $2.99 on the price tag.

Next I saw a small stack of NES games, with Kung Fu (which I sort of wanted but didn't pick up since I had no money) on top, and then...a copy of Mario/Duck Hunt under it...another copy of Mario/Duck Hunt under that...and a copy of Mario/Duck hunt to the side. Nothing of interest there.

Last thing I saw was an old PS/2 Model 25 with nothing in the expansion slots, no keyboard, and I'm pretty sure the monitor was the monochrome one (well, I thought it would be green/black, but apparently they're monochrome, with some having color monitors). That was marked at $9.99, and I asked if they would discount it...$8, no deal.

Anyhow, when I rang up they charged me only $1.58 for the Genesis storage box! I was very pleased. :D

by the way, did Mattel publish a lot of NES games in Canada for nintendo. i thought it was odd that metroid has a huge Mattel label on the box.

Ultimate Video Game Yard Sale - this weekend only!!

It saddens me beyond words to part with my videogame collection, so I will not try. I have to sell, sell, sell as fast as I can, because if I am unable to raise $2,500 by the end of this month I'll have no place to put my collection anyway. My situation creates an incredible buying opportunity for anyone even remotely within driving distance of Pitfall Harry's Lost Videogame Cavern, located at:

739 E. Juanita Ave,
Glendora, CA 91740

If you want to pick up some common, hard to find, or rare classic videogames at great prices, I urge you to make a road trip out to my place this weekend.

Yard Sale will be held on March 20 and 21:

Saturday:10a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Sunday: 11:a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

...or until the target $2,500 has been raised, whichever comes first.

There are far too many items and too little time for me to itemize the collection, but here are some of the highlights:

...and many other items I can't recall at the moment. Everything is up for grabs! If you don't see it, ask. You may be pleasantly surprised. Come early, come often. There will be no bidding. No reasonable offer will be refused, and in many cases I will consider unreasonable offers as well. Sorry about the short notice, but this weekend is your only chance to get these items before, if necessary, I have to put them on eBay on Monday.

Everyone who makes it out here this weekend will be entered into a free raffle; I'll be giving away your choice of an Atari 2600, 5200, 7800 or Atari 8bit home computer. Now is your chance to get your Atari system for free.

Yeah.. I remember my goodwill had mario/duck hunt for .99 for about a month. Either someone bought it, or they probably just set it on fire out back. I dont even think id spend .50 on that game. I practically pull them out of my ass.
