It is wierd, but if you were going to scam someone on Bonk 3 new and sealed, wouldn't you charge more than $30? Then again there was no picture.

not that i'm defending him, but some of us ppl don't trust paypal...i don't...so i use money orders to pay the stuff that i won...pretty soon i'm going to be selling things...but i won't be able to use paypal as a payment option b/c like i said, some of us doesn't trust it...so i would prefer a money order...i don't think it's that bad, is it? well after what happened to my friend and her paypal acct...i ain't getting it X_x ...but yeah 2.50 for s&h for a gamecube seems pretty suspicious too...maybe he doesn't know the s&h prices? :eek 2:

When I first saw the Bonk 3 show up on eBay I thought that I found a good Buy It Now until I saw the 0 feedback. I have a personal policy against buying from 0 feedback sellers. I know that we all started with 0 feedback, but it is just too risky. Considering everything else that this person has listed I am sure that there will be plenty of negatives real soon.

well, after I wrote an email to the seller to email me two pictures of the gamecube at two different angles with a paper next to it with the auction ID written on it in order to authenticate the item, all, every single one, of his auctions are gone, unavailable for viewing...sorry for bad punctuation, not an English major :D

At least we know he was a fraud...his email address is as follows:

TURBOGRAFXX@aol.com

so keep him in mind to avoid...

surprise surprise!

he's no longer a registered user!

Now that I think about it, this guy has been the subject of this forum before. He's located in PA. He keep's changing names. This may be him too...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3081804716&category=62054

He always lists a bunch of TurboGrafx stuff, like a turbo duo with like 30 plus games. A fellow ebayer by the name of Gupster2 pointed him out to me. Apparently he got scammed by him. Now everytime his auctions come up he BIN. The guy then started doing private auctions, and apparently now dutch auctions.

WOW then maybe he was a fraud...or maybe an oldtimer who got negative feedback was banned and tried to come back... :eek 2:

Just like with buyers, it pays to be cautious with people with less then 5 feedback. A friend of mine wants to sell some jewerly on EBay, so I advised her to start small at first -- sell some books, CD's, etc to get some feedback ratings before she lists the big stuff.

better yet, have her buy a few things first to get the feedback up...

This is really pitiful you know, not only pitiful that the seller did this but that the people actually BOUGHT THIS STUFF.

Give it a few weeks, this stuff will all pop back up.

Had it happen to me once, I caught it, and had the seller banned and got my items. People try to rip me off...but I'm too smart for them! LOL

actually, his ID was deleted with all of the auctions...he never sold them...but he's been saying he did to save face probably...when you try to go to one of his auctions, to see if it sold, it doesn't show up...The guy got cought...

I'm so glad you brought that up. I don't trust PayPal either, not after they screwed a couple of my friends out of a lot of money! Have you seen this website? www.paypalwarning.com

Whenever I do any business on eBay, buying or selling, I always use a money order.

I used to use paypal until recently. A guy got onto my paypal and charge my bank account 700 bucks, I had 12....In the end I got back my money, but paypal charged me a 35 dollar fee...BS...So no more paypal for me...

Rev. Link and Can_dude...i don't trust paypal either, and yes Rev. Link i've been to that site and also to paypalsucks.com or .org one of the two...i'm not going to let paypal screw me later on so i'll just use money orders, that's why i always try to keep 100% communication with the ppl i buy things from whenever i win an auction.

This guy never gives up. He's been NARU'd at least a dozen times. I don't know how ebay keeps letting him back on.

Ebay should just ban his IP so he won't be on for good.

How do you know it's him?

First off, most of the items are the same. "It came from the Desert" for instance. Second, the way the auctions are listed in the exact same manner. Short descriptions, for the most part no pics, all BIN's and only accepting Money Orders. Third, he lists the same types of products, usually TG16, SGFX, NEO-GEO, etc, all listed with BINS below what most people would normally pay for the item - to tempt them with good deals. Finally, the guy is from Pennsylvania (probably York) just like all the previous ID's. This guy is a chronic scammer on ebay. The account has already been suspended - "No longer a registered user."

I know we have a Black List and an "Ebay Gremlin", perhaps we need an "Ebay Watchdog" to lookout for fellow board members and report jackholes like this guy.
