Well I bidded on an item listed incorrectly hoping no one would notice...can you blame me...i don't have much cash :( it is an expansion pak for n64 listed as something else...for like 1 cent with 5 s/h...i got an email from the seller telling me he just noticed it and had contaced ebay on what to do, he says he sees they usually go for 10 on ebay and would like a fair price for it...so what should i do????? i really need this expansion pak to play some of the games i have on N64, so how much should I offer him?? Since there's 7 hours left for it, I probably can get him to sell it for me as a BIN since he listed it wrong.

I don't understand. Are you currently winning the auction? A link would help.

Then I guess you're saying that he's blackmailing you into paying more? If he doesn't want your bid then he can cancel the auction, or you could retract your bid if necessary.

I don't understand what the hang-up you're having is. If you are afraid he won't sell it, and neg. you then just cancel your bid. I would rather find a expansion pak somewhere else than take a chance with getting a bum deal, and a neg.

Why does he have to contact eBay? Is he new? Must be, cause almost all sellers know you just cancel the damn auction.

Just get out I say.

I found the auction "without your help :P ", he seems legit enough, but I still don't get why he's freaking out. He even has a gallery pic so i'm sure you're not the only one that has noticed it.

We can raise the bid together if you want to, but I will only go to about $5 myself, then you can take it from there.

Keep your bid there, and if he won't sell it to you for the price you won it for, report him to eBay as a nonselling seller.

Is it me, or does $5 seem a bit high for shipping? Should only be around $3.....

Well, of course it does, but most sellers overcharge shipping.

So let me see if I got this straight, he's possibly getting a $10 item for $.01 and you guys are complaining because shipping is maybe $3 more than it should be? LOL

And he might only ship priority with delivery confirmation, which costs $4.25

Or if you print labels online, $3.85 with DC. :)
