Well...I bought a DVD from this one guy...he took more than a week and 2 two days to send it to me, I'm not complaining tho...just that i really depend on feedback right now, and he left me none...so how can i ask someone to post a feedback, without letting them know that i depend on it right now? :eek 2: Do I write one to him first?

Do you "depend" on feedback because you're new at Ebay? I'd just send him an e-mail and ask for feedback. I usually end up doing that anyway.

I never had any luck when I asked for feedback.
It's sad, but from other posts I've read, people apparently don't like it when you do it.

Give it a few more days before asking.

Most sellers either 1) Wait until they get feedback first, or 2) Wait until a bunch of items are sold then leave feedback all at once. I do that second one a lot since I usually sell items in groups, and I don't leave feedback until it's actually at the post office.

Whatever you do, do NOT badger the seller about feedback. That's against ebay's rules (well I think it is anyway) and just bad karma.

once i get the item, i post feedback for them and then hope they leave some for me. i wait a few days and if they dont, i email them and say that i left them feedback and ask if they can do the same for me. if they never reply and dont leave feedback, then i just forget about it. when i first started on ebay i would leave feedback, but lots of people wouldnt leave it for me...but what can you do..some people just wont leave feedback..if they wont, just dont buy from them anymore

offer sexual favors in exchange

or, just politely state how you've done your part, left positive feedback, and am very happy with your purchase. And being that you're new to eBay it would be very helpful if you will leave positive feedback for you. end with a thank you, have a great day. And that should work

When I receive an Item,I leave possitive back and then email the seller saying."I recived item today and left possitive feed back for you, hope you'll do the same for me and Thank You"
Sellers almost always leave me feedback.

I also usually email the seller when I receive the item, unless it's a seller who has hundreds of items listed a day. When I send my payment to sellers I write them a nice little note too. Overall, private sellers usually leave feedback within 5 days but businesses can take up to 3 weeks.
