For those of you who don't know what they are:
Game Factory was an idea from Blockbuster and Sega. You got the cart, and they were to get rom burners,which would put a game on your cart. You'd pay to put the game in, then if you wanted a different one you'd pay for a blanking and re-burn.

HA, I was waiting for someone to bring that up. Yeah I have never seen one beore . I don't think they are that rare, but this blus one had a nice sticker and seemed like a cool piece of Sega History.

I was going to buy them both, but figured. "What would I do with 2?"

I don't even have a genesis at the moment but I would have been all over them. And for the exact same reason Dave mentioned, I think it's a nice piece as far as sega items go. And where was this guys red one? ;) (Has that been confirmed? I thought DP never found his? Heck...I can't remember x_x )

I think its just a blank cart in a sega case with a blockbuster sticker

I'm lost, but I checked the guide and I didn't find any reference to any sega competition carts. I was refering to the red game factory cart that I thought nobody confirmed yet but it is in the DP guide. I also thought a thread just recently mentioned that some "sega" site(unaffiliated) that had pictures of things like the game factory carts and whatnot didn't have pics of the red one....I still could be wrong but the guide says there's a red one but it is much more valuable than the others. green and blue are listed at $20 and red is $75 for those that can't reference it.

Really? so these are the Blue, Red, Green carts I've been catching wind of. well I never put 2 and 2 together. I thought these were different.....guess I should have bought both them ...right Sph1nx (is that your ID? on the green one)

When I find someone selling BINs like that I view ALL their auctions. That is a real good way to get games for cheap. I bought several from that seller before. Another generally good one is kb_games. Prince of Persia 2 complete 11.99, and lots more.

Oh, I checked his other auctions....almost bought NES jetsons too, but I have one coming in the mail already.

Plus when shady posted this the auction was only running for just over an hour, so I could have bought both....but didn't .

Anyways, keep it up shady! if you see any good BIN's keep letting us know.
