My wife and I went out to pick up some supplies for her across town, and we passed the Salvation Army just as it was opening.

On the way back, I thought what the heck, I may as well peek in.

They had about 2 dozen Nes games all .99 each (all loose.) I got:

Yesterday I picked up a Sega Master System at a local thrift for $25.00.

It had 3D Missile Defense built in and had the 3D glasses. I also got: 2 controllers, the Light Gun, a Control Stick, the Rapid Fire unit and 7 games. The games were all boxed and included the manuals as did the system and all the peripherals.

The games were: Double Dragon, Ghostbusters, The Ninja, Monopoly, Maze Hunter 3D, Quartet and Zaxxon 3D.

also scored a Donkey Kong board game.

Finally got my Dragon Warriors 1 and 2 for the NES in the mail today.

I also picked up:

Metal Gear Solid 2 (PS2) - 23.99
Pitfall (GBA) - 9.99

They had 7 more GBA games for 9.99 (I wish I had more money) and plenty of other great deals on PS1 and PS2 games.

I think I've been going to thrifts to much the last few weeks, today I picked up 8 CIB w/overlays, Intellivision games. Now I've never had a INTV and I wasn't planning on getting one but the games were pretty in the boxes and all.

$2 each for dirt commons: Night Stalker, Boxing, Baseball, Football, Tennis, Vegas Blackjack, Auto Racing, and Golf.

edit: oops, I almost forgot the cool little Tandy Electronic Football II handheld I found for $3. Complete in box/instructions/bubble wrap and near mint :)
What's also cool about this Tandy is there are 4 lines to run up and down in, I've only played the Mattel one's before where there are 3 lines.

ack! Posting about thrifting made me check out another goodwill on the way home. Found a taped up box that had a Atari 2600 4-switch Vader, all the hook-ups, and 4 joysticks. All that was worth the $15 for me so I didn't dig into the box and would wait to open it at home.

When I got home, it was complete and working, no games, but the box did have a UHF modulator in it? and an original GameBoy! Cool, I didn't have one of those before.

Not bad. I picked up a complete Nomad on eBay for $80 the other day too, but only because it looks to be in PERFECT shape. I also got Vay for Sega CD for like $15 I think.

Well, on wednesday, I went to a Salvation Army, and got only one thing.(fresh out of video games).

Might and Magic 3 for MS-DOS.

Its been a great week for my Virtual Boy collection. Almost have the entire library of complete US VB games now (just need Waterworld and Jack Bros.). Got the following off ebay for $25:

Not much in the way of games for me this weekend, but what I got makes me happy. Found the following:

SNES:

Battle Clash $1.99
Mega Man X $10.00 (probably overpaid, but I REALLY wanted it)

NES:

Gyromite $1.99 (had the converter!! Anybody interested? :wink: )

And perhaps the coolest find of the lot...

50 NES dust sleeves for 5 cents each. Found two AVE sleeves and a Wisdom Tree sleeve in there as well. Cool.

I picked up Alien vs. Predator for the Jaguar for $3. It was in a Trevor McFur box, which is what I thought I was buying. The guy only wanted $3, so I didn't even look in the box before I bought it.

I also got Motor City Patrol for the NES, still sealed for $5.00.
