Any way to play a windows 95 game on 2000

I just got Twisted Metal 2 for the PC, it's a windows 95 game. It let me install it in 2000, and actually runs, lets me setup controls and pick my character, but right before the level loads it gives me an error.

Any way to get this to work?

If not, is it possible for me to install windows 95 and dos in addition to 2000. Partitions or something?

There are a few games - like the Win95 port of XCom and some German games (Mercedes-Benz Truck Racing) that just plain don't work in 2000 / XP for me...

I think as it is now...you may be SOL as your system is now unless you can find a patch that allows it to be played on Win 2K...

Windows 2000 is a more professional version of Windows, and they sacrificed a lot of compatiability for reliability...great if you don't want Blue Screens...sucks for old games...

Unfortunately, I don't know if / how dual booting Win 2K and Win 95 may work...

I don't have the game but someone on NT Compatible said this patch works. Give it a shot.

If you have SP2 installed (or was it SP3?), you can also enable Windows 95 compatibility mode. Google for Comatibility Mode; there are many websites about it.
