I was browsing through trucks on eBay and ran across this auction.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6783&item=2469162332

Here are a few quotes from the auction. I especially like the last line.

"Truck did run at one time but was stolen and engine was blown up. Now after completely rebuilding it I have lost all motivation."

"Does not come with title or good tags, title can be tracked down from previous owner ( a old friend of mine ) I just don’t care to take the time."

"Truck must be picked up in NE Portland ( no exceptions that’s why its so cheap, so don’t ask )."

"I’ve set the buy it now for what I think is really f-ing cheap."

"No pictures, I can probably round some up but probably not before its sold. I’ll take cash when you come to pick it up and if your not satisfied just walk away and I wont leave bad feed back, unless you’re a dick. "

someone should e-mail him saying

"my name is Dick, if I buy this and don't like it will you leave me negative feedback for simply being a "Dick"?"

I love auctions like that. I've seen so many where someone will say, "car has a scratch in the paint but could easily be fixed with 2 minutes of buffing." Doesn't that make you ask, "why don't you go buff it for 2 minutes?" I mean, if I'm buying a car and you're telling me you won't put 2 minutes worth of work into it, that's pretty bad.

Same thing when they say, "sorry, I don't know the odometer reading or VIN number". Um, just how far away is the car from you? If you can't walk out to the garage or driveway and look, then did you really change the oil when you were supposed to?

I wish I had a dollar for every car that had never been driven in the rain or snow or even on cloudy days.
