I found One of these (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3183268981&category=2606) at Goodwill for $3.

It does have some scratches and I didn't get 50 cards (x_x) with it, but the scratches are almost all on the back; there's three little ones on the front but the logos are all untouched (the Pokemon logo has a very slight and small scuff that I can only see when holding it to the light).

In other words, I made out like a bandit on a $3 item.

Never underestimate the power of Pokemon!

Added: The thing's got a clock, apparently has info/pics of all Pokemon in the database for you to activate (somehow or other), you can enter your name, turn the sound off and more! :D

[our town currently didnt gamestop.. or any other gaming stores and On-Cue/Kbtoys just closed down] and i looked around and saw that we have a Gamestop opening... I no longer have to drive 2 hours away to go to an actual gaming store.. good times

I went to a dumpy store by a movie theater today. He had a bunch of genesis games in a shoe box on the counter. His whole store was comprised of a few shelfs with some beaten up games on them.

Well he had no idea abou Genesis games so he said a flat rate on Genny games- $3.00 a piece and $1.00 for sports.

Found a mint Complete SNES Zero the Kamikazee Squirrel for $9.99...might be rare, might not, but that's a subject for another thread. ;)

Traded for a bunch of boxes and manuals with Darth Vader and dave2236 (nice to meet you both!) who were in town to pick up a Kangaroo arcade cabinet. More trades planned for May at the Midwest Classic!

Ended the day by finally getting an X-box. Was going to wait for the price drop, but heard the new systems would be difficult to add emulators to. Found a used one in nice shape with an S-controller for $99.00 and couldn't resist. Finally get to play these X-box games I've been gathering. Halo is great, Steel Battalion is on deck for tomorrow.

I bought a few games and other gaming stuff at the Flea Market today.
I didn't pick up much for many vendors either didn't show up or left due to the on and off rain..

As I walked around my wife found me a Nintendo with all hook-ups etc and a Bigfoot Game for $10.00 sweet!!
The same vendor had a bunch of SMS games boxed,but I/we passed for I already have them.
I picked up a Deep Sea Fishing game handheld & a weird Batman handheld game for $1.00 & new model Mattel Football handheld(still new) $2.00
Naki Playstation controller $1.00

I saw a trashed Commodore 64 boxed for $15.00..Passed..He's had it for weeks.

I went for a quick dumpster dive after my hockey game. It was so good! I found this sphere shaped promo for Final Fantasy Chronicles that spins in circles. :D I will show pics.

A buddy of mine who manages a Gamestop was going to through away a box of those Mega Man promo "pod clocks".

He asked me if I wanted them, so I said sure.

Now I have 15 of those blue "pod clocks" - all brand new.

Not sure what to do with them, but I will gladly trade them to people for other promo items. :D

OMG I'm horrible. I bought Sports Talk Football '93 Starring Joe Montana and Bulls vs. Lakers: NBA Playoffs at my local Goodwill, both loose for $2. They're really worth about $1. Oh well, more Genesis games for the cartridge storage case, w00h00!

I did better buying Mecarobot Golf (SNES, Toho '93, R2 and worth $5 loose) and a boxed (manual not in terrific shape, box hanger gone, but the reply card was still there) World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, that one's worth $8 according to the guide.

Dang. I thought that would be the most common one; but I guess I've totally underestimated the popularity of the Joe Montana name...strange that since I do remember seeing Joe Montana shirts for kids back when he was popular. Anyhow, all of that was $11.61 (add an original copy of Eisenhower's "Crusade in Europe" for something like $.25) and I was short. I guess they like me since the lady at the register put some change in to meet the balance, which was something like $.26. I was embarassed to say the least...and I plan on never doing THAT again :}

Analysis: Not great, not awful, and nothing to be proud of. :/
