I though this maye be of interest for some of you nintendo fans
Waay back in the 90's Epoch released a toy based on super mario world where the aim is to navigate your way through a motorised maze.
Over 10 years later i finally managed to get my hands on one. As far as i know there are no pics or even mention of this toy on the net. All i remember is that mean machines or C+VG (uk games mags) ran a competition back in the 90's to win one.
(Thanks goto Yakumo for the pics) (sorry 56k users)

There were loads of them made in the 80's & 90's by different companies.
I remember one made by Tomy called Kong mountain. Ooh and there was screwball scramble as well.
Don't know if you had them in the us as well, im guessing you did as you have loads of cool toys that never released in the uk.

Kong Mountain sounds VERY familiar....but I can't find any info or pics on it or anything. You have a pic or something of it?

I think any kid in the late 80's/early 90's who went near a KayBee Toys saw one of those things. I think they used to have penguins most of the time, they'd slide around and go up stairs and stuff.

Not those, those were just moterized things that moved on there own. THese you had to move the marble yourself through an obstacle course that moved and youd press buttons to pop the marble into the air at the right time and stick it to a magnet whic pulled it to the other side of a gap and such. These were pretty cool....the penguin stuff sucked.

This what your referring to? Kongman by Tomy
Donkey Kong clone called Kongman used to swivel at the top and throw marbles down at you or something? Think it’s still in the garage, ill have to try and rip it out.

Ah, it's one of those Snafu marbal maze types! I also know is that there was a Sonic version of that marble maze toy during the Mid 90's. Does anyone know that toy?
