OK my first gaming system was game boy, but my first console was the nintendo 64.
I had been into Pokemon and the gameboy for a while, and me and my friends only played gameboy. We haven't played much conosle, besides me rarely playing jet moto 2 or a bug's life on my dads ps1. Well while at my friend Casy, he showed me his nintendo 64. I was like, What is that thing? Well my mom came by later to pick me up, and she saw the nintendo 64, and her and Casy talked about it while I played gameboy. She months she told me about the N64, and even said she'll buy me one, but I wasn't that enthusiastic. She rented a system from blockbuster, along with super smash bros. and Pokemon snap. I was hooked. I played Pokemon Snap for 7 hours at a time. I loved it so much I cried when we had to take it back, because it had become my friend in a way. It was like the kid and e.t and how he cried when e.t was dying.
Anyways, flash to that years christmas. I had gotten a bunch of cool stuff, and haden't noticed my nintendo 64 that much(I kind of forgot the fun that I had).I got a bugs life( which I alreasy had on playstation), super msash brothers,diddy kong racing, and my dad had some football game he got for free at work ages ago. After playing with my other stuff, I pulled the n64 out and my dad hooked it up. My cousin started playing it, and I was like, you suck-head, it's mine, not yours. Of couse I was only 8, and I couldn't say that, so I told on him and then I got to play. My old friend was back. I played that thing to death. After that I went home and played diddy kong racing with my friends, and when I got to wizpig, I was scared, but I still kicked his butt in the end. Another fun game was super smash brothers. I remember a video game wizkid named matt who told me how to get ness. I ran as fast as I could home to get that son-of-a-gun, and I jumped up and shouted "YESSSS". After that I became a gamer. Since then I never turned back.
