Saturn Vampire Savior HELP!

I recently picked up 2 Saturn imports, X-Men vs. Street Fighter and Vampire Savior. I have been using a Pro Action Replay Plus 4 in 1 to play all of my import games and its worked like a charm...until I tried playing Vampire Savior. When the game loaded up, it went to a screen full of Japanese text and the words 4MB. I even tried swapping out the Pro Action Replay cart w/ the 4 MB cart that came w/ X-Men vs. Street Fighter.

Does anyone know if this game is only compatible on Japanese Saturn systems? Is there a way I can get around this and play the game or am I stuck w/ a non-playable game?

i dont know why the XMvsSF 4mb cart wont work (it is an official 4mb cart isnt it? translucent blue/grey case w/a blue labe)

the 4-in-1's need a small modification to get it to work on VS.

Yeah, the 4MB cart that came w/ SF vs. XM is an official product, but it will only work on Japanese Systems as far as loading the game.

I saw late last night on someone else's site that the 5 in 1 Pro Action Replays manufactured before April 1998 need some slight modification to play Vampire Savior. I guess I got one of those. Bummer.

So I guess Vampire Savior will be going back to eBay. Maybe I can find the first Dark Stalker game since I know I'll be able to play that one.

Anyone interested in Vampire Savior? Its in great condition, minus spine card. $25 shipped within the US.

If I had a steady hand and the tools, then I'd solder away. Sadly, I don't have either. I've only played the game once or twice, so its no huge loss to sell it. I got the game packaged w/ X-Men vs. Street Fighter...which was the whole reason I was bidding in the first place. Maybe I can find one of the other games in the Dark Stalkers series to replace VS with.
