*UPDATE* You'll always find the latest pics here: http://omr.planet-d.net/fotobattle/game_collection/ *UPDATE*

After finally returning home, I was able to take a couple of photos of the stuff I have. It's not as nicely presented as the majority of rooms I've seen here, and it's rather small, but I personally like looking at other people's photos, so maybe someone will enjoy mine too ;)

XBox, PS1, SNES, Gamecube and CD32 /w FMV module (http://omr.planet-d.net/fotobattle/game_collection/consoles.jpg) which are actually in use
Atari 2600 and 2600 Jr. /w games, Xbox, PS1, PS2 and CD32 games (http://omr.planet-d.net/fotobattle/game_collection/2600.jpg)
CD32 games, GBA and some other stuff (http://omr.planet-d.net/fotobattle/game_collection/cd32.jpg)
Amiga games, boxed VC4000 (http://omr.planet-d.net/fotobattle/game_collection/amiga.jpg)
A lot of Kingsoft games 1 (http://omr.planet-d.net/fotobattle/game_collection/kingsoft1.jpg) 2 (http://omr.planet-d.net/fotobattle/game_collection/kingsoft2.jpg) 3 (http://omr.planet-d.net/fotobattle/game_collection/kingsoft3.jpg)
C64, C128 (http://omr.planet-d.net/fotobattle/game_collection/c64.jpg)
CDTV (http://omr.planet-d.net/fotobattle/game_collection/cdtv.jpg)
A couple of controllers (http://omr.planet-d.net/fotobattle/game_collection/controller.jpg)
Vectrex, A500, CDTV (http://omr.planet-d.net/fotobattle/game_collection/vectrex1.jpg)
Vectrex carrying case and Psygnosis logo (http://omr.planet-d.net/fotobattle/game_collection/vectrex2.jpg)
Vectrex games, overlays and manuals (http://omr.planet-d.net/fotobattle/game_collection/vectrex3.jpg)
Retrogaming literature (http://omr.planet-d.net/fotobattle/game_collection/literature.jpg)

That's most of the things I got ^^

Nah, I normally play everything, the older the better, I just don't have the room to have all machines connceted at the same time :)

Pretty cool collection but you need to get a bigger picture so people can see a lot of stuff instead of a couple of things in a picture.

Cool! A lot of stuff in there you don't see in US collectors' collections. Nice to see pictures of a decent CD32 collection as well.

I'd have to imagine that is because most of us have never seen a CD32 nevermind have one. The only one I've ever seen was at your house.

Rearranged my room a little after I got my new beamer yesterday (the old one broke down), here's Silkworm playing on the CDTV from disk :D

What projector are you using for that?

robotriot

An Epson EMP30, the cheapest and crappiest one that's being sold currently :)

Looks decent enough in a still shot of a classic game. How good is it for games of that era?

Nice collection.

I really should get some pics of my stuff, although it's not as good as some of the stuff I've seen on here. :)

I wouldn't mind having my systems connected to a projector actually. A pull-down screen. Actually, I like that idea. Too bad it probably costs a pretty penny to get a projector that connects to A/V Ports and some speakers. Really. I never considered this before. Maybe I should.

I recorded a small movie of a game in action. Due to the low res of the projector (800x600) and its LCD nature, you can see the actual pixels if you're blowing the picture up a lot. You can see this a little in the video when the camera gets closer to the projected image. I don't mind this really though, it still beats the hell out of any size TV/monitor out there ;D

At 11MB I'll have to look at it tomorrow from work. How much was the projector? I'm looking into options for my setup.

I thought it was a TV actually on first viewing. Pretty cool. Too bad it's probably better seen in the dark. Which is okay I guess. Actually, I wouldn't mind that if I had my own Game Room rather than everything crammed into this little bedroom.

Next time I take pics of my "Lair", I'll have to take closeups of the games themselves. I seem to only do a wall at a time.

€808 including shipping, I got a demomachine which only ran for 5h, and it still has the full warranty. Which is why I wouldn't reccomend ebay for getting one, repairing one of those is almost as expensive as a new machine. The EMP30 has relatively cheap spare lamps btw, about €350. It's also relatively silent, but the air vent is on the front of the projector, if you stand too long right in front of it you'll start sweating, it's really that hot :) Another major disadvantage besides the 800x600 resolution is that there's no analogue zoom, only a digital one. But I can live with that.

Jasoco: Yea, the 'screen' is about 2m x 1.5m :) Of course you could make it even larger, but my room is too small ^^ Beamers that work well in daylight are even more expensive, iirc 1200 Lumen and up is viewable in daylight.
Oh, and I've got all of my collection in my bedroom as well ;D

KirbyStar27: Thanks ^^

How big would the picture be if the projector's about 8 feet from the screen?

Hell, if it weren't for the lighting factor (Light in the room. Need to be mostly dark to see.) I'd connect my TiVo to it and use it as a big TV as well.

About 1.6x1.2m ... the maximum for this beamer is 6.1x4.6m btw, which equals a 300" TV ;)

Sweet. I'd love a video screen 5.3'x3.9'.

How much do these things usually cost?

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I paid €808 including shipping for a machine used for demonstration, thus it isn't 100% new.
