I have a suggestion....for what it's worth, reguarding things that have sold already. I know how many different parties that Dig Dug has to deal with and I'm sure it makes the PM box overfill at times. So, is there an e-mail address that everybody can send an email to with "Dig Dug's Big Sale" as the Subject and the rest would be setup something like:

Username

Total # of Items

Name
St. Address
City State Zip

and anything else that might be useful in making this man's job easier. As well, Dig Dug, I'm going to be heading to Centerville next weekend, Saturday, for a friends party. I imagine I will be there from 4-8 or so and was planning on stopping around to some of the stores on the mall exit(EB, Target, and Staples if there is one) Perhaps some others, but we'll see....but if this would work for a pick-up time then we could hash out the details. Also, let us know if this would work out as far as getting shipping addresses. I know I've sent a couple of PM's with no reply, which is fine.....It just seems that your PM box would overfill alot with the demand you are dealing with.

EDIT: I guess it would help to read your whole post. The chances of you selling Scooby Doo for 1 is pretty unlikely, so you can count that as a no sale if you want, I just wanted to throw a number up there.

My next question to everyone who has bought stuff is has anyone received anything?? I understand family crisis matters (such as a death in the family)are a delicate situation, but we need some response here.

We have numerous people who have not received PM's and others who sent money some time ago and haven't received anything. So has anyone received their orders from this sale and if so what?

@digdug: please let Achika or I know what is going on as well so we can stay on top of this and keep everyone informed. We have alot of people out here with a considerable amount of cash and no goods yet. Just let us know what is happening, OK?

I totally understand what you are saying and don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to start something. Nobody is perfect when selling items, we all make mistakes, including me. It's just the amount of unanswered PM's and amount of cash out there is a little unsettling for me (and I didn't even buy anything in this sale).

The only way to make sure this gets resolved is to stay on top of it and make sure everyone gets what they paid for. That's all I'm trying to do. :)

No need to explain, I fully understand everybodies worries :D I'm just trying to be optimistic and give him the benefit of the doubt and not saying everybody else hasn't already tried that for the past month. Keep up hope and I'm sure he'll poke in sooner or later.

A few days after I posted to DD about still trying to get DBGT:FB though I didnt win the auction (April 11), he responded to my PM. We sent a few PM's back and forth, and made an agreement for me to make my decision on monday (april 19). I sent him a PM monday (declining the game due to it being incomplete), and havnt heard from him since (he said that he thought he still had the missing piece, and would keep looking and let me know). Im still waiting for some response too.

Im far from mad, im just very concerned and nervous. Infact I didnt want to post on the board whenI did get a PM response from him, because I didnt want to upset the members who bought stuff, and just not gotten their PM's. I understand being swamped with work, school, and personal family issues (that was me last November) but with people having paid money for items that they "won", this is getting kinda scary.

This along with some of the other members that appear to have disapeared with out giving the goods others have paid for recently, im starting to wonder if the boards should start a more secure system for the both the buyers and sellers. Is one possible, besides trying to do a stop payment on PayPal??? Some kind of registration, and or credentals to be able to use this part of the board??? Just some thoughts, as ive been watching this unfold the last week or so.

Mine was shipped after POG's was, even though the payment was sent priority to get there a good five days BEFORE... and there was NO PACKING MATERIAL USED WHATSOEVER. Stuff is dinged, "complete" items aren't... I'm going to inspect everything after work but considering I paid $11 for shipping on a $9.50 shipped package, Digdug could have used that $2.50 for PACKING MATERIAL.

I will note that my games came in a padded envelope, which was sort of like bubble wrap with a coating, that was pretty large to hold 2 DC games; the games were taped shut to prevent them from opening during shipping, as there was a lot of extra room in the envelope. One game case had a small crack in it, but I have no idea if that happened before or after shipping.

Digdug, your deals were great, but I think you bit off more than you could chew doing two huge sales so close together, even without whatever else is going on in your life. It was a month between when I mailed out payment and when I recieved the games, and I only got one message from you in that whole time, where you said you were sending the game out on Saturday (which you didn't end up doing, and didn't contact me to let me know). Communication is pretty important when you're running into real life problems, especially when you've got someone elses money in your hands.

I received my package today and although the contents were ok, the box was way oversized and had come OPEN! I received a boxed O2, 2 DC games, 2 SS games and 1 PS1 game....and ZERO packing material, nothing :o . The shipping box was so large that i'm sure the games had bounced all through the entire box, and i am not very happy about that. But the deal is done.

I got my games about a week ago. Very fast shipping. There were a couple of problems. The games were packed in a large padded envelope. There was lots of room for them to move around. As a result 10 of the 14 (or so) game cases were cracked. That doesn't bother me much though. I don't mind replacing jewel cases.

Two things that did bug me a bit was that 3 of the games were not mint as described. Figures they would ba the games I wanted most. Mars Matrix, Power Stone 2 and Smurfs :embarrassed: . I was also charged $19 for shipping. It cost $11 to send by air.

I'm pretty easy going. I'm not pissed, just a little disappointed.

I'm still missing 5 nes manuals that were left out of my package. Last I talked to him he said he would look for them and mail them, but that was weeks ago. Digdug, if you can't find the manuals we need to work out some kind of replacement.
