Guess I should do this since fairly new to the boards although I have been a member of DP for many years (still have my DP third edition, 1994, carry it to the "thrifts" when hunting for "treasures") :)

Name is Tom, I collect/play/trade in mostly classic games, console and computer. I specialize in RPG/adventure type since that is what I like to play the most. I also like to collect "rarities", even if not RPG. I have over 1000 games in my collection, another 1000 or so for trade/sale. You can find out more about me on my main web page (plus a history of the Ultima series), TomMage.com. My trading history, you can check some of it at ebay, my ID is www_TomMage_com and my ID at GameTZ is TomMage.

Looking forward to some trading!! I am an "internet policeman" of a sort, I CAN'T STAND SCAMMERS/THEIVES. For example on lady in Malaysia stole many thousands of dollars from people around the world. I spent some time making reports etc and ended up having her thrown in jail. She gave back my money and a lot of money she stole from other people too (you can check history of this under my ID at GameTZ, her name is Sissy Lau). If anyone needs info on what to do if you get ripped off feel free to ask, I'll be happy to provide more details on how to handle things like that, IE DO NOT GIVE UP.

Thanks,
Tom

Thanks,
Tom

Yep just hit reply. And I did not think you would read all those. I was just pointing it out for you.

"Yep just hit reply"

Done

"And I did not think you would read all those. I was just pointing it out for you"

Well I will eventually, best way to find out who likes the same type games as me. Some interesting profiles already :)

Thanks,
Tom

A few more details, my first "console" was a combo Breakout/Video Pinball unit (still have it). Favorite games, well hard to say, probably Ultima V on C128. Magic Candle 1 on same computer darn close (superb RPG, some very unique aspects) Other goodies

Computer games
ULTIMAS
Phantasie series on C128 (forget IBM with CGA), you think some 2600 games were "lacking" graphics, check out this series!!
AD+D gold box games SSI, Dark Sun game great too
Wizardrys
Bard's Tales
Might and Magics

NES
Original METROID (still the best in the series I think)
First Zelda
Ultima Exodus, probably first "true" RPG I played
Dragon Warriors
TONS of good games for this system

2600
ADVENTURE (try to get every object in one room)
Montezuma's Revenge

Coleco
Can't remember the name, big pyramid (main screen) you entered and visited various rooms, lot of snakes to fight. Something with gems you inserted in wall too I think, 3 at a time?

SNES
Final Fantasy II
TONS of good games here too, great RPG system, the best I think, or perhaps PS1.

Genesis/Sega CD
Shining Force games
POPFUL MAIL :)
Lunars
Landstalker
Lots good here too

Turbo 16/Duo
Order of the Griffon, my fav D+D console adventure

SMS
Phantasy Star the BEST 8bit RPG made.....
YS

3DO
Lucienne's Quest, were there any other good RPGs for this console?

Lots of other goodies on these and other systems, these just ones that come to mind. Also the original "Adventure" text only game, played off mainframe on paper terminal, type you actually plugged in a phone handset. Played Zork the same way. Still have almost all the games I purchased ages ago, ie 2600/ColecoVision etc. Had no idea any of my stuff was actually "collectable" til I "discovered" the internet, around 1994 I think.

A quick lesson in Swedish:

Tom = empty
Mage = stomach

Tom = empty
Mage = stomach

Ahhah, very good :) Well I am always hungry. TomMage = Tom the Wizard for me, when I joined AOL was unable to get screen name with Wizard (without a bunch of crappy numbers attached) so went with Mage. My last name means "big head" in English.
