Alright, I've only got the 3 games that came w/ my newly purchased Lynx 2 system: California Games, NFL Football and Ninja Gaiden. Would anyone care to recommend other non-sports games?

I'm told Gauntlet and Double Dragon are worth the purchase...if I can find them.

I love the Lynx

Blue Lightning (flight combat game very good)
Rampart (a solid translation of the classic)
Gates Of Zendocon (space shooter lots of fun)
Chips Challenge (puzzle)
Crystal Mines II (puzzle)
Stun Runner
Awesome Golf (I know you said other than sports but this ones good)

I don't have many either, 7 I think. I will second Chip's Challenge, that's a pretty cool puzzle game.

I'd recommend Klax. A bit awkward to play on the Lynx as you have to hold it sideways but Klax is one addicting game.

Wow, where to start?
Blue Lightning, Gates of Zendocon, California Games, Chips Challenge, Slime World, Klax, Warbirds, Ninja Gaiden, Rygar, Scrapyard Dog, Awesome Golf, Checkered Flag, Ms. Pac-Man, Shanghai, Lemmings, Shadow of the Beast, Malibu Beach Volleyball, Dracula, Switchblade II, Super Squeek, Rampart, Steel Talons, Robotron 2084, Joust, Desert Strike, Bubble Trouble, Super Off Road,
and some of the new games.

I didn't see these mentioned yet:

Zarlor Mercenary (I like this better than Zendocon, since you can blow up almost everything :))
Xenophobe (arcade conversion)
Road Blasters (arcade conversion)
Rampage (arcade conversion)
A. P. B. (arcade conversion)

I'll also second these recommendations:

Slime World
Rampart
Blue Lightning
Warbirds
Chip's Challenge
Klax

I didn't care for the Lynx Gauntlet. It wasn't actually Gauntlet, but another game that they put the Gauntlet name on.

Chip's Challenge, Crystal Mines II, Rampart, and so many others are really fun games. But I'd like to also recommend Batman Forever. It's incredibly hard to get through, and I haven't gotten very far with it yet (I've had my Lynx for about two years), but it's a very good-looking game, and I had some trouble putting it down.

I haven't heard of Zarlor Mercenary...anyone know of a site that has some info on that game?

I've seen a few new sealed Lynx games on eBay with a BIN price of $1.50...Kung Food, Steel Talon and another game. Are these worth the purchase price?

lots of info and reviews and even game ranking here

I was also wondering if anyone has played Alpine Games its a new game for the lynx. It gets great reviews its just hard to think about shelling out $35-$40 for Lynx game even if it's new.

Some of my favorites: Shanghai, Chip's Challenge, Ninja Gaiden III, Joust, Toki, Rygar, Xybots, Stun Runner, Warbirds, Blue Lightning, Todd's Adventure in Slime World, Xenophobe, Block Out, Malibu Beach Volleyball, and Checkered Flag. That should provide quite a bit of fun right there.
